Over the last couple of months I have been working on upgrading my online store. It has a fresh look and works the same way as before, but with some improvements.
 

A Better Shopping Cart Experience

You will notice a measurable improvement in the shopping cart experience. Some customers were frustrated by the previous version that sometimes produced inexplicable results. The shopping cart is now vastly improved with some new features.
 
As you add items to your shopping cart, they will remain there for up to 30 days until you complete the checkout or delete the items from your cart. You can browse my store in the morning, and come back later in the day and pick up right where you left off. The same shopping cart is also visible on different computers in your household. Let’s say you’re on your desktop computer and add some items to the shopping cart. A few hours later you can continue on your iPad or smart phone, and those same items will be visible there as well. This all happens in the background and ensures that the valuable time you spend searching and saving items in the cart is not wasted.
 

More Payment Methods

During the checkout you can choose from several payment methods. eTransfer continues to be popular with my Canadian customers (unfortunately it’s not available in the U.S.). I replaced Paypal with a much friendlier Credit Card payment service from Stripe. I’ve added an Offline payment method where you can place an order now and submit the payment later. I have customers who still like to pay by Cheque too.
